RETURNS 
Our return policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have past since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Non-returnable items:
Gift cards, New Old Stock, Downloadable software products

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
The cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund – Shipping is non refundable.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at gatekits@gmail.com.

Sale/New Old Stock items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at gatekits@gmail.com and send your item to: Custom Gate Automation, Laragh, Kilcock, W23 R70C, Co. Kildare.

Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to: Custom Gate Automation, Laragh, Kilcock, W23 R70C, Co. Kildare.
If you are shipping an item, you should use a traceable shipping service and purchase shipping insurance for its full value.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Warranty Period
Unless stated - Manufacturer’s Warranty ends 12 months from date of sale, stated on your invoice.

Factory warranty - Manufacturing defects upon receipt
Our products are carefully composed and are of high quality. However, it is possible that there is a manufacturing defect in our products. In case of a faulty item, you should contact us within 24 hours of receipt. Photographic proof will speed up this process.

Factory warranty - Excluded from warranty
Our manufacturer's warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, neglect, misuse or accidents.
Wear and tear or damage that naturally and inevitably occurs as a result of normal use.

Factory warranty – Validity
We will warrant items with manufacturing defects purchased on www.gatekits.ie within 12 months of purchase.
For a warranty claim, please contact our warranty team by emailing gatekits@gmail.com
Your item must be returned (at your expense) to our premises for review and assessment.
Please note: If the product has demonstrable user damage, you may not receive a replacement/refund. Warranty claims may take four to six weeks to process.

Shipping

If you are shipping an item, you should use a traceable shipping service and purchase shipping insurance for its full value. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Factory warranty - Service and Solution
If your product falls under our warranty policy, we reserve the right to manufacturer repair or refund, we will ship the repaired or replacement to you.
If a replacement is not available, we will e-mail you an e-gift card* for the purchase price (minus the shipping), valid for use on www.gatekits.ie.
*You can also receive a refund within the normal return period of 14 days
